Economist Evgeny Kogan advises on how to invest in mutual funds
In his interview with Nation News, he claimed that it’s a reasonable instrument for amateur investors.
He also noted that some of the platforms contain illiquid and even toxic assets.
‘This is a problem, because it’s difficult for amateur investors to determine mutual funds’ composition. If such funds invest in government bonds, corporate bonds, blue chips or liquid assets, then it’s fine’, he added.
